Moscow, April 6th (EFE) .- Russia will denounce the economic sanctions against it in international courts for attempts by some countries to suppress “the right to private property” in relation to the assets of Russian companies, declared today the Vice President of the Russian Security Council , Dmitry Medvedev.
“Russia’s opponents, or rather its enemies, must understand that they will face many legal disputes in court,” Medvedev wrote on Telegram.
He specified that it refers to the national courts of Europe as well as to the United States and international courts.
“This will show whose side vaunted Western justice is on,” he added, while labeling European officials who “have only to propose to burn our businessmen at the stake” as “inquisitors.”
“Other than that, all methods of the Inquisition remain the same,” he said.
Medvedev complained that “the accounts and other assets are arrested only on the words of the inquisitor, and then their confiscation is considered in favor of some persons appointed by the inquisitor”.
“The war against Russia is being waged on the basis of emotions, with no regard for common sense or the law,” he claimed to EFE
