Russia withdraws from the cities of northern Ukraine, but leaves a trail of blood. After the images of the Bucha massacre, testimonies of the atrocities committed by the occupation keep appearing. The latest is the case of a 9yearold girl who was brutally raped and killed by 11 Russian soldiers in Irpin. Reporting on the news is Alina Dubovska, a journalist at the Ukrainian newspaper Publicwho shared the testimony of a family member who witnessed the incident in a lengthy post on Facebook.

According to Dubovska, the little girl saw Russian soldiers kill both of her parents. Unfortunately, the story of Irpin’s little girl is not an isolated case, but one of the many testimonies emerging these days. The Commissioner for Human Rights Verkhovna Rada Lyudmyla Denisova wrote a post on Facebook denouncing other crimes committed by soldiers in the occupied territories.
