“So I thought, let’s open a conversation and start talking about it, because it’s something I’ve always felt confident about, and as I got older I realized there was no reason for it.

“I would be concerned if you could see it on the show and what people’s comments would be like and it took me a while to start getting it under control.
“As I put aside the superficial effects it was having on me, I realized it was more about the safety of my skin and minimizing further damage to it as much as possible.
“I started wearing factor 30 or 50 on my face every day, no matter the weather and whether I was home or abroad! (Even though it was snowing) and that really helped.
“People always comment that I always wear a hat even on vacation, it really helps me because it keeps the sun off my face. I never sunbathe facing out. I think this is the most important tip!
