Avril Lavigne is engaged to fellow singer Mod Sun. The musician got on one knee in Paris and proposed to Avril, who shared pictures on social media.

“Oui! Je t’aime pour toujours Dimanche. 27 Mars. 2022,” she captioned the post, which reads, “Yes I will love you forever Sunday March 27th 2022,” revealing the two were already engaged when They attended the Grammys together in Las Vegas.

In the photos, she wore a fitted black dress that showed off her figure, while Mod, whose real name is Derek Ryan Smith, donned his signature leather jacket as he dropped to one knee with the Eiffel Tower in the background.
The post also featured a sun-kissed selfie of the two with their spectacular heart-shaped engagement ring, sparkling in the light against the bright orange bang on their nails.

She capped it all with several other shots of them partying near the famous Paris monument and even showed off the tattoo of her name he had on his neck.
Immediately, fans took to the comments section to congratulate the pair, writing: “My jaw just hit the floor. Love ain’t shit. So happy for you two legends.”
Avril shared several images on social media
Another commented: “Love you guys! Happy for you both,” and a third joked, “*Alexa plays Taylor Swift’s Lover.”
Mod herself also commented on her pictures with the sweet words: “I love you so much! Forever and ever my angel.”
The two musicians are believed to have been dating since November 2020, but only made their relationship official in 2021 when they collaborated on the song Flames from Mod’s record.

They have collaborated frequently since then, with Mod contributing to some of the songs on their most recent album, Love Sux.
Avril was previously married to Sum 41 singer Deryck Whibley for three years, the couple legally divorced in 2010, and she later married Nickleback star Chad Kroeger in July 2013, less than a year after dating him. They split in 2015.
Derek was previously married to Bella Thorne.
