(ANSA) — ROME, SEPTEMBER 15 — The car in which Volodymyr Zelenskyy was traveling was involved in a traffic accident in Kyiv, but the President of Ukraine was not seriously injured. This was announced by the President’s spokesman Serhii Nykyforov.
Nykyforov explained that Zelenskyy’s car collided with a private vehicle, but did not specify when the accident happened. “The President was visited by a doctor: no serious injuries were reported,” the spokesman said, adding that “the circumstances of the incident are being investigated by the police.” “The doctors who accompanied the head of state rescued the driver of the private car and took him to an ambulance,” Nykyforov finally said.
