Nick Cannon’s tribe is growing and growing – and we’re just trying to keep up.
On September 14, the The 41-year-old Masked Singer and Wild ‘N Out host announced the arrival of his ninth child, daughter Onyx Ice Cole Cannon, with model LaNisha Cole. With the 10th (featuring Brittany Bell) and possibly 11th (Abby De La Rosa is pregnant again, but paternity is a mystery) babies on the way, we thought it was long overdue (wink!) for a full Cannon breakdown -Children and their mothers.
So, let’s hit the cannons…
9. Onyx Ice Cole Cannon (born September 2022)
lucky no 9 – a baby girl with the gemstone name Onyx – was born on September 14, 2022 to Cannon and former Price Is Right model and photographer LaNisha Cole. This is their first child together. Cannon shared a photo with the mother and baby shortly after the child’s birth and vowed to “do the best we can to protect, nurture, guide and love this child.” He also urged critics to direct negative comments about his open relationships — and multiple baby moms — to him rather than his partners.
“In this moment of celebration and anniversary, I wish to mute all low vibrational frequencies and rejoice only with the highest class of civilization that is truly connected to our purpose here in this dimension,” Cannon wrote on Instagram. “I’ve given up trying to define myself to the world or society, but instead I’m doing the work to heal and grow into the infinite being that God intended me to be. Hopefully I can teach Onyx the same, not to let others shame or taunt them with their outward opinions, because when they do, they are only projecting their own harsh experiences, pain, and social programming onto their flawless beauty.”
He added that he has “pretty tough skin” and has always been an “open book,” but noted that “not everyone in my family has the same level of strength as I and not the loving and precious mothers of my children.” He called Cole “one of the most arrogant, peaceful and non-confrontational kind souls I have ever seen, and deserves only to revel in the blissful joy of motherhood in this moment.”
The story goes on
8. Legendary Love Cannon (born June 2022)
Cannon’s eighth child — a little boy with the big name, in size and importance, Legendary — was his first with model/Wild ‘N’ Out Regular/Selling Sunset star Bre Tiesi. The child, named Legend, was born on June 28th. Tiesi, who was previously married to NFL QB Johnny Manziel, said Cannon — or “Daddy,” as she called him — “pointed the F for us [during the natural home birth]. I couldn’t have made it without you.” She revealed that she tried to induce labor naturally after 41 weeks with “a lot of sexy time” so the baby could be delivered before Cannon had to leave town. News that the couple was expecting – via photos from gender reveal parties – emerged a month after he swore he had become celibate. His unsuccessful attempt at celibacy came on the advice of his therapist after giving birth to four children with three different women in less than a year.
7. Zen Scott Cannon (born June 2021 – died December 2021)
The America’s Got Talent alum had his seventh child, Zen, with model Alyssa Scott, who also appeared on Wild ‘N Out. Zen, who was born on June 23, 2021, was diagnosed with a brain tumor and died just five months later, on December 5th. Cannon said in revealing Zen’s death that he was “so grateful to my entire family for getting together.” Time with Zen – a name meaning peaceful and tranquil – in its final weeks. He called Scott “the strongest woman” and “the best mother”. On the first anniversary of Zen’s death, Cannon announced the creation of Zen’s Light, a foundation for pediatric care, in memory of the baby.

5 and 6. Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir Cannon (born June 2021)
Cannon’s second set of twins is a co-production between him and former radio personality Abby De La Rosa. Zion, a name meaning ‘highest point’ and ‘Zilly’, whose money-centric name speaks for itself, were born on June 14th, 2021. De La Rosa said having a kid with Cannon “was something that we manifested.” while before they found out they were expecting twins. She shared that they had suffered a pregnancy loss the year before. Speaking of their relationship, she said they became friends after meeting while hosting radio shows on rival stations – and soon it would be friends’ turn “[ed] into the family.”
4. Powerful Queen Cannon (born December 2020)
Cannon became a father for the fourth time after giving birth to a daughter with a very powerful name, Powerful Queen, on December 24, 2020. This is his second child with model Brittany Bell, who called Cannon “my rock through the most intense yet powerful time natural water birth.” The birth was also the first of four children Cannon had in six months with three women. About On the baby spree, he said, “I’m out here like a seahorse with my procreation.” But seriously, he added, “I have these kids on purpose. It’s no coincidence!”
3. Golden Sagon Cannon (born February 2017)
Cannon’s third offspring, also with Bell, is his Golden Child. The boy was born on February 22, 2017. When the boy entered second grade at just 5, Cannon said he “takes no credit” for his intelligence and said he “gets his genius from his mama!”
1st and 2nd Monroe and Moroccan Scott Cannon (born April 2011)
“Dem Babies” need no introduction, right? Cannon’s first set of twins is with his then-wife Mariah Carey. The couple experienced a pregnancy loss before having their babies on April 30, 2011, and the public was so excited to see them that they were introduced to the world in their own 20/20 special. As for their names, Moroccan was inspired by the top-floor decor of Carey’s NYC apartment, where Cannon suggested; Monroe was named after Marilyn Monroe, one of Carey’s inspirations. The couple, who split in 2014 and divorced two years later, have remained friendly after the breakup and have gone on the carpet with their children since their split. Cannon said in July 2022, “I will never have a love like I had with Mariah … It was literally like a fairy tale.”
However, it’s unclear how Carey feels about his baby-making spree. In November 2021, Carey gave a very Mariah response when asked if Roc and Roe would be spending the holidays with their step-siblings. “Is it step?” she replied, adding the shadows, “I don’t think it’s step unless you’re married to the person.” She continued, “I don’t know,” with a “It is.” another interview for you.” As a response, Cannon posted a Christmas photo of Roc and Roe with step-siblings Golden and Powerful Queen. He posted a separate photo of twins Zilly and Zion, who apparently couldn’t all have six kids together at once. His post also included a review of Baby Zen.

Soon…
Cannon announced that Bell is expecting her third child when he shared photos from a maternity shoot in August. This will be his 10th child… or is it?
De La Rosa is also pregnant and first shared the news in June. She has kept the father’s identity secret, leading to speculation that it is Cannon. Amid the conundrum, she recently posted on social media, “Go over Kardashians. Gen ‘C’ takes over, babyyyy.” She also spoke about her open relationship with Cannon, saying, “Being open in my relationship doesn’t change the kind of mom I am to my kids. I look forward to my kids growing up and being like, ‘Mom and Dad, you all did it your way. And I love that.”
Cannon has fueled the gossip, saying: “If you thought there were a lot of kids last year…” and hinted he will surpass last year’s tally – by four births. And joked about how many he’s got so far, holding balloons with all sorts of numbers for a photoshoot, and quipped, “Anybody got a calculator?”
