Hello fellow Eagles family! I have the privilege of picking #8 for the Atlanta Falcons this year and honestly I couldn’t have been happier with how the board turned out!
The Atlanta Falcons tried (HART) and failed to acquire the services of Deshaun Watson. They were able to sign Marcus Mariota as bridge QB, so if the top QB in the draft falls into their laps in 8th place, the Falcons will sprint to 8th place.
As I nervously updated the sharesheet containing our community draft picks, I held my breath and hoped Malik’s name wouldn’t fill a draft slot. When the Panthers picked 35-year-old Baby Hands Kenny Picket, I knew I was free at home!!!
Let me explain to you why the selection of Malik Willis to sit and learn a year behind Mariota sets Atlanta up for a future of fighting for years to come!!!

Willis is the most physically gifted quarterback in the 2022 NFL Draft without exception and those idiots dropped him to me at #8 hahahahahahahahahah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Letting Mariota run the show until Malik is ready to take over (be it this year or next) is the best possible outcome for Atlanta in the 2022 draft.
This should easily get a 100% YES vote as the chance of adding Mike Vick 2.0 should be VERY tempting for the Falcons to pass up.
