NHL 23: Juraj Slafkovsky note revealed

Juraj Slafkovsky, the first overall pick in the latest National Hockey League (NHL) amateur draft, has been awarded a rating of 78 in the latest iteration of EA Sports’ video game, NHL.

This was announced by the company that designed “NHL 23” in a post on Twitter on Wednesday.

The Montreal Canadiens’ new forward will be one of the top-rated rookies to start the season. He also shares the same rating as a certain Shane Wright, who many would have liked to see in Montreal before tumbling into the hands of the Seattle Kraken as fourth in the draft.

For his part, Buffalo Sabers defenseman Owen Power, the very first pick of the 2021 auction, the edition preceding Slafkovsky’s, received the score of 82.

Caufield among the best youngsters

It looks like Cole Caufield’s electrifying end to the 2021/22 season may have impressed the video game developer, who has given the little winger an 84 rating.

It’s an improvement of a point overall from 83 in the previous version of the game. Caufield, picked 15th overall in 2019, thrived with Martin St-Louis at the head coaching position ending the campaign with 35 points in 37 games after the arrival of the instructor.

This 84 rating earns him a place in the top 10 players under 23 in the game.

However, the popular hockey game is not yet available on store shelves. This is only possible on October 14th.
