The eighth edition of the World Festival of Humor and Choripán starts this afternoon from 17:00 and continues tomorrow, Saturday, with free admission.
The event will take place at the venue between Avenidas Nores Martínez and Concepción Arenal, at the entrance of the Ciudad Universitaria.
Organized by the city’s Ministry of Culture and Youth, it’s a popular gathering around humor, music and the signature cordovan dish on the go: choripán.
As is already tradition, you can taste the menu of the stands Choripán Clásico, Choripán Gourmet and Choripán Mundial as well as craft beer.
Its artistic grid features artists such as Valdés along with the Municipal String Orchestra, La Bicho, Planeador V, De Boca en Boca, Las Despechadas, Pedro Saborido, Hecatombe, Nardo Escanilla, Gabriel Marassini, Cony la Tuquera, Sabor Canela and Los Can Kann. .
In addition, the festival includes a new room called “Between Breads” where lectures, stand-ups and a “Mesaza with the Jury” will take place. It will be the scene of a Meme Point or Corner of the Meme, an art space to step with interactive actions by Las Mochas del Pasaje and Enclave Circo; and DJ Diego Quiroga, along with Diana Fonss, will be responsible for entertaining and connecting all artistic entities.
On the other hand, there are prizes made with recycled material from the circular economy.
The selection is made by a jury made up of well-known personalities from gastronomy and specialist journalism.

It will take place this Friday April 8th from 5pm to 12pm and Saturday 9th from 12pm to 12pm.
It will have the participation of 40 Classic Choripán cars, 10 Gourmet Choripán cars and 10 World Chori Grills.
In the World category, there are positions from Italy, the United States, Cuba, the Arab countries, Colombia, Mexico, Poland, the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic. The proposal includes the vegan option with a seitan-based menu.
There will also be a Choripán stand without TACC, which will have a differentiated space to avoid cross-contamination with other foods.
It should be noted that this is the first edition in which craft beer is integrated over two days with 9 stands.
