The Armed Forces of Ukraine liberate the village of Yatskivka in the Donetsk region and improve positions near Bakhmut

Ukraine’s Armed Forces have liberated the village of Yatskivka in Donetsk Oblast and recaptured positions previously lost on the Bakhmut front.

Quote: “By maintaining offensive actions, the Defense Forces of Ukraine have gained control over the settlement of Yatskivka east of the Oskil River.”

“Our forces are improving their tactical position[s]. Thanks to the timely redeployment of units of one of the mechanized brigades and the high combat organization, we managed to regain the lost position and bring the positions south of Bakhmut under our control”.

Details: Hromov added that the situation on the Bakhmut front remains complicated but under control. Russian troops continue to attack to drive the Ukrainian units out of their positions. The Ukrainian army is in control despite intense Russian attacks.
