A resident of Watford, England gave birth twice on her own birthday. The unusual coincidence happened for a second time on Tuesday (20) when Marie Barton, 34, gave birth to their youngest daughter Kady.
According to the woman, who is a mother of four children, the first contractions were felt on Monday (19).
“I was like, ‘Well I’ll have her in an hour and she’s going to be born on the 19th. But no, she waited until the 20th. I really couldn’t believe it,” Marie said in an interview with British tabloid Mirror.
The woman said the birth of her youngest daughter was due in the second week of October and the girl “hurried” was born on the same day as her and her sister Lola, 11, was born.
Marie said that the eldest daughter was pleased with the arrival of the youngest at home, despite the fact that she shared the spotlight with her younger sister on her birthday and was surrounded only by family the day she turned 11 .
“She said this was the best birthday of her life,” the girl’s father, Joe Barton, said in an interview with The Mirror. He said that he randomly decided to buy a lottery ticket, but he only got one number right.
“It looks like I’ve spent all my luck, but that’s all I need. I have my little lottery,” he said.
