2022 Masters Rankings: Live Coverage Tiger Woods Score Golf Scores Round 4 Today at Augusta National

AUGUSTA, Ga. — The top two golfers in the world this year will line up wearing a green jacket at the 2022 Masters on Sunday. Scottie Scheffler, the 36- and 54-hole leader, narrowly saw his advantage but will still go into the final round at Augusta National with a three-shot lead over Cameron Smith. One of the two will almost certainly end the day on the 18th green with a $2.7 million check finding its way into his back account.

Scheffler, who took a five-shot lead in Round 3, saw that lead cut in half when Smith scored the day’s round with a 4-under 68. Despite being far more consistent this week, Scheffler is the world No. 1 and will have to fight his way down the track. Given that 26 of the last 31 green jacket winners came from the final pairing in Round 4, there’s a far better chance than no one of these two will be crowned Masters champions on Sunday afternoon.

As for Tiger Woods, a brave and impressive performance in the first two days saw the five-time Masters winner make the cut for the 22nd straight tournament at Augusta National. However, Tiger followed with a career-worst round here, a 6-over-78 that sent him tumbling out of contention. His goal on Sunday? Even get back for the Masters.
