Lindsay Lohan says her siblings “definitely have it harder” than most kids because of what she “accidentally” did

Lindsay Lohan said that over time she realized how important her family was to her – and she shared how her “siblings definitely had it harder” than most kids because she said she “accidentally” things done.

The 35-year-old actress opened up about a whole host of things during an interview with Vogue magazine for an article titled ‘Life In Looks,’ and the ‘Mean Girls’ star shared a clip in an Instagram post on shared Thursday.

She captioned the post, “So excited and honored to be a part of Vogue Magazine’s ‘Life in Looks.’ The full video will be live on Vogue’s YouTube account and will include a link in my bio. Here are just a few excerpts from the interview.”

In the video, The Parent Trap star spoke about some of her more iconic looks over the years, from her red carpet look for Disney’s The Parent Trap movie premiere in 1998 to the styles she wore in her Film Freaky Friday starred alongside costar Jamie Lee Curtis in 2003 – and in Mean Girls the following year.

During this throwback to her headline-grabbing outfits, the superstar-actress opened up about found memories she had with her brothers – Michael Lohan Jr. and Dakota Lohan – and sister Aliana Lohan. It starts here at minute 12:07.

“My family is so important to me, so whenever I have the opportunity to include my sister and brother in everything I do,” Lohan shared. “And with my mom, I always jump at the chance … those are the memories that count.”

“Growing up my siblings definitely had it harder than most kids their age because I was such a public figure that they couldn’t really escape the results of my actions, which I accidentally did in public,” added she added. “So I feel like I really had to lead by example as I got older and learned from my mistakes.”

“Yes, over time you realize how important family is more than anything else in the world,” Lohan continued.

Lohan has had quite a colorful past, having found fame on ‘The Parent Trap’ at the age of 12. After that, she was in the headlines for years because of personal issues related to substance abuse and more.

She has in the past spoken out about her parents’ difficult relationship and her own struggles after being arrested for a DUI in possession of cocaine — and another time with cocaine in her system, Vanity Fair reported in 2010.

“I grew up very quickly just because of the situations I was put in because of my dad,” Lindsay said. “My mother tried to protect me as best she could, but I chose to intervene [of her parents] my entire life.”

In November 2021, the Georgia Rule star shared life-changing news on social media that she and boyfriend Bader Shammas were engaged. She captioned her post, “My love. My life. My family. My future. @bader.shammas #love.” The message also included a diamond ring emoji.

Aside from a few select roles, Lohan basically disappeared from the spotlight for more than a decade. She recently made a comeback and will star in her first project when Falling For Christmas debuts on Netflix later this year.
