Revocation of the power of attorney: How to find your box on the Internet

Today in all entities of the Mexican Republic the plebiscite related to the exercise of the mandate is being held.

According to the National Electoral Institute (INE), the revocation of the mandate is “the instrument of participation requested by citizens to determine the expected completion of the performance of the person who holds the presidency of the Republic, from the loss of confidence”.

This will allow people interested in participating in this process to go to any of the 57,516 voting booths that will be installed across the country to cast their vote.

Although the number appears large, it is actually less than the number of polling stations installed in local or federal elections.

Faced with this situation, since March 26, the INE has activated the digital tool Locate your Box, which allows interested parties to find the nearest voting center to their place of residence.

It is expected that many people will be interested in participating in this exercise, considering that this would be the first time in the country’s history that a recall vote will take place.
