American actor Mark Ruffalo, who plays the Hulk in Marvel movies and series, began interacting with several Brazilian celebrities in Portuguese on Twitter. Entering the campaign climate this weekend, he became “Brazilian” and has commented on famous posts about the presidential election. In a good mood, he even joked with Fábio Porchat about the choreography of Anitta’s “Envolver”.

The first personality the Hollywood star retweeted was Juliette. “The world is watching with great attention and appreciation as Brazilians make bold decisions to defend their democracy and improve their lives. Here’s an inspirational call to courage from Juliette for Brazilian women,” Ruffalo wrote along with a post from BBB Champion 21″ on a call for women’s choice.

He then commented on a comment by Pabllo Vittar on hunger and food insecurity. “Queen Pabllo Vittar put it in a nutshell: A government that cares about its people can mean the difference between life and death. Listen to her,” Ruffalo explained.

He then reiterated Cleo’s call for women to vote. “The wave is growing! Democracy will win,” he added.

He also commented on a post by Preta Gil on empowerment through voting. “Democracy can inspire bold decisions on behalf of our families and for our planet. The consequences are particularly severe in this Sunday’s elections, and Brazilians have risen to the occasion. Nice to see!” he commented.

When it was Porchat’s turn, he joked, “Brazilian friends, if you guys go to vote on Sunday, Fábio Porchat has promised to teach me how to dance ‘Envolver’ by Anitta.”

The star also commented on contributions from PT running mates and indigenous leader Sonia Guajajara, who is running for PSOL. “Indigenous leaders have the wisdom we need to wake up from our collective nightmare. We have to listen to them. We have to wake up. Together,” he tweeted.

A few months ago, Ruffalo showed his interest in the Brazilian elections by encouraging young Brazilians aged 16 to 18 to complete their voter registration. “What happens in Brazil concerns us all. Your voice is your power,” he wrote at the time.
