What happens if the voter queues up at 500 pm

What happens if the voter queues up at 5:00 p.m. to vote? check

Voters from across Brazil faced long lines in the 2022 elections. The time for registering the vote is until 5 p.m., but do you know what happens when the time comes and the queue is still long?

According to the TSE (Superior Electoral Court), those who are already waiting at the polling station are guaranteed their vote. After the polling gates are closed, voters will receive a password to vote.

This year, voting time in Brazil has been standardized and all polling stations will work from Brasília time, including cities and states with different time zones.
