Children In Need has announced its presenters as it prepares for its return on November 18th.

And on Monday, Alex Scott was announced as the presenter for this year’s BBC show as she returns for her third year.

The former footballer, 37, will join comedian Jason Manford, Ade Adepitan MBE, Mel Giedroyc and Chris Ramsey.

In the promotional photos, Alex could be seen donning the charity’s signature yellow shirt with the iconic Pudsey graphic.

She repeated Children In Need’s message, pointing to a sign that read, “We’re here for you.”

BBC Children In Need is an annual fundraiser that raises money for underprivileged children.

It was revealed in July that the appeal had raised £51million for people at a disadvantage across the UK last year.

The charity currently supports over 2,300 local charities and projects across the country.

It comes as Alex celebrated the release of her new memoir with loved ones in London on Thursday night.

Former lioness Alex revealed this week why she chose to detail her past relationship with teammate Kelly Smith in her new memoir.

The footballer, who played for both England and Arsenal alongside Kelly, 43, first confirmed their once-rumored relationship earlier this week.

Speaking on Wednesday’s One Show, Alex explained that “parts of the relationship influenced her throughout her life” and that she needed to “break the cycle.”

Joining Alex Jones and Jermaine Jenas, she explained, “I’m super private and will continue to take care of my relationships.

“The only reason I wrote this chapter is because I wrote this book feeling I was cheating not only myself but everyone else if I didn’t include it.”

“It’s been such a big part of my life, it’s about falling deeply in love, that feeling that we all wish for and I was lucky enough to have that.”
