Amanda Holden opens up about her exposed nipples and jokes they’re ‘insured’

Amanda Holden says her nipples are “insured” and “have their own management.”

The 51-year-old radio host is often spotted in skin-tight outfits when out and about, and has laughed away any criticism of her nipples showing in colder conditions, telling people to “get over it!”

After receiving comments from people on social media, the actress joked that she took out special insurance for her body parts, telling The Sun: “Jennifer Aniston has the same problem. We are very sensitive to the weather!

“But I’m just like, ‘Get over it.’ It doesn’t seem to matter when you see boys’ nipples, so I just don’t understand why seeing girls’ nipples matters.

She insisted she had no problem with her visibility, adding: “It’s everyone else making the fuss about her.”

This isn’t the first time Amanda’s character has garnered attention – a daring £11,250 dress slashed to the belly button by Britain’s Got Talent presenter on the show in 2017 drew 663 Ofcom complaints.

Amanda wore the controversial Julien Macdonald dress after days earlier admitting she was seeking complaints as she joked: “Will people complain to Ofcom? I hope so, I really do.”

A year earlier, at the show’s finale, 90 complaints about the dress choices of fellow panelists Alesha Dixon and Amanda were sent to Ofcom – and 200 to ITV, although the regulator deemed both “suitable” for the show that year.

Earlier this year, Amanda insisted she wouldn’t weaken her outfits, adding that she likes to wear latex to auditions and said she doesn’t think anyone should pressure themselves to “dress for your age.” .

Amanda didn’t let the naysayers get to her, telling the Mirror, “I’m thinking more rubber — I enjoyed wearing latex to auditions, so I’m thinking more latex, more sweating in life.”

Amanda previously laughed at viewers’ complaints about her fashion choices and said her mother Judith adored her outfits.

She said: “Mum said, ‘Ooh, let her talk. You look better than girls half your age.” When my mom was 48, she wouldn’t have dared wear a mini skirt because she’s from the days when you wouldn’t dare at almost 50 to stretch your knees. Whereas I look at Kylie and J-Lo and I’m like, well, if she’s still doing it, I’m still doing it,” she said at the time.

“Obviously I’m having fun on Britain’s Got Talent – it’s the perfect opportunity to take risks. Times have changed and I don’t think anyone should feel pressured to dress their age. It’s all about body positivity and feeling good.”

Amanda joked about how much attention her boobs and classy ensembles get, previously quipping that they need their own representation and will appear in Piers Morgan’s life stories.

She told Web: “I seriously think my girls need a separate representation for me because they are known on their own. They don’t need me, they’re going to go and make Piers Morgan’s life stories by themselves next year!

“They’re going to do their own album, they’re going to put out their own autobiography – The Truth Behind The Bra!”
