The beginning of the dream… everything went wrong. A Swede recently went viral on TikTok and revealed how getting a tattoo on her lips became a nightmare in her life. Wilma Hägglund shared her distraught reaction when she first saw the finished artwork as she burst into tears. The publication has still raised a number of doubts among netizens.
In a first video, Wilma revealed that she wanted to tattoo a “meow” (the English word for the sound cats make) on the inside of her mouth. She even snapped a photo for her tattoo artist’s reference. However, the idea didn’t work very well… Eventually, the meow ended outside the lips. “He got it wrong on my damn mouth,” the young woman wrote. Hägglund then released a new video showing how shocked she was when she looked at her mouth. “My God!” she said. The Swede appeared in the footage screaming as she began to process what had happened. In the same video, she shared the start of the tattoo removal process which has already shown some signs of improvement. The post was a huge hit on the social network, reaching more than 11 million views in a few weeks.

Given the huge implications, several people were just trying to understand how this was possible. “Why didn’t you notice that while they were tattooing?” asked a profile on the social network. “She allowed that?” another said in disbelief. There were also those who were surprised to imagine a professional delivering this type of result. “Did a tattoo artist do this?” one account asked.

But many also did not have that much grace and thought that this was not possible. “It’s your fault, honey,” warned one netizen. Another Tiktoker even made fun of the situation and shared how Wilma would have to deal with the problem. “You’re going to need to incorporate lipstick into your daily makeup routine,” she said.
