In October, Globoplay subscribers have a few more titles on their lists than what’s on display. For example, this month’s premieres on the platform include the soap operas Selva de Pedra, a remake of the eight o’clock track originally created by Janet Clair, as well as Todas as Flores, an original on the platform that has everything to do with the public to be succesfull. October premieres on Globoplay to keep an eye on 👀
Day 10 Stone Jungle [Novela] Remake of a soap opera written by Janet Clair and aired on Globo in 1972, the second version of Selva de Pedra premiered on the network in 1986 at eight o’clock.
Starring big names like Tony Ramos, Fernanda Torres and Christiane Torloni, it told the story of an ambitious young man who fled to Rio de Janeiro after a tragic altercation. As his companion, I was the only witness to his innocence. A woman he would marry, but who would be threatened by the arrival of an ambitious and wealthy young woman willing to end their relationship.
With 155 chapters and the responsibility of replacing Roque Santeiro, the telenovela was heavily criticized during its airing but garnered good ratings at the time and became a hit in 2019 when it was repeated by Viva.
Day 19 All flowers [Novela Original] The second soap opera created exclusively for the platform, Todas as Flores, will be divided into two seasons. Written by João Emanuel Carneiro, it has artists like Sophie Charlotte, Regina Casé, LetÃcia Colin and Humberto Carrão in its cast.
In the story, a blind young woman who was raised by her father meets her real mother, who was believed to be dead. When the girl moves to Rio de Janeiro with her, she ends up being involved in a criminal conspiracy because the woman uses facade social projects to reproduce works analogous to slavery. As if the problems weren’t enough, the girl also has to deal with her sister, a young woman who will do anything to ruin her life and relationship.
Expected to unfold in 85 episodes and betting on a very ambitious streaming project, Todas as Flores has everything it takes to do well on Globoplay’s screen.
