Sophie Monk reveals her husband Joshua ‘fired’ her from navigational duties after losing them while on holiday in Spain
Sophie Monk announced on Wednesday that she was “fired” by husband Joshua for using Google Maps to navigate around her area while on holiday in Mallorca, Spain.
The 42-year-old TV presenter posted a video on Instagram Stories of her struggling to walk the streets of Mallorca and looking for directions on the app.
She had trouble discerning where north was, and fumed in anger, “I can’t tell if I’m backwards!”

The former singer kept pacing hoping to identify her area on Google Maps, but was unsuccessful.
Sophie’s husband Joshua Gross asks her, “Do you have it?” and Sophie initially responded with an excited “Yes.”
Unfortunately, she soon spoke too quickly, quickly changing her answer to a dejected “No.”
She then revealed, “I got fired from Google Mapping.”

Sophie and her husband Joshua have traveled to Europe to film the latest season of Channel Nine dating show Love Island Australia.
It comes as Nine released a Spanish-inspired promo featuring Monk dancing with a shirtless man to promote the upcoming series.
Speaking Spanish, the presenter kicks her legs and twists before engaging in a tango with the pretty dancer.
Struggling to discern where north was, she vented angrily, “I can’t tell if I’m backwards.”
“Your cravings are bound to explode,” she says in Spanish, before a voiceover announces, “The hottest show on TV is back.”
“Twelve hot Aussies heat up the hottest Love Island yet.”
The show, set to air next month, will return to Spain, where the popular British series is also filmed, after the 2021 season was moved to Byron Bay due to Covid lockdown restrictions.
