Health and Social Affairs Minister Christian Dubé will provide an update on the COVID-19 pandemic early Wednesday afternoon.

The minister will be accompanied by the national director of public health, Luc Boileau.
The last press conference attended by the Health Minister was on July 6th. Mr. Dubé then reminded Quebecers of the importance of getting their booster shots.

Public Health’s is dated September 29, when Dr. Boileau had announced that Public Health was ruling out the idea of reinstating health measures despite forecasting an increase in cases due to the start of the school year and the cold autumn.
The province’s latest report, released Tuesday, reports 1,823 Quebecers hospitalized with COVID-19, including 39 in intensive care. However, no new deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours.
