Jamie Lee Curtis beamed with pride as she walked the red carpet with her adopted daughters Ruby, 26, and Annie, 35, at the premiere of “Halloween Ends” in Los Angeles on Tuesday night.

The 63-year-old actress and her girls were spotted posing for photographers before heading to the famous TCL Chinese Theater to see the horror film.

In July 2021, Curtis revealed to the world that her youngest daughter is male-to-female transgender and had changed her name from Thomas to Ruby.

A male-to-female transgender person (MTF), often referred to as a trans woman or transgender woman, is someone who was designated a male at birth but identifies as a female.

A transgender person is someone whose birth sex does not match their gender identity. This also applies to those who identify as non-binary or genderqueer.

Curtis proudly told AARP magazine that she and her husband Christopher Guest, 74, “watched with wonder and pride as our son became our daughter Ruby.”

The couple adopted Ruby back in 1996 when she was a newborn.

Curtis arrived at the star-studded premiere Tuesday holding hands with Ruby and Annie, who was adopted by the actress and her husband Guest in 1986.

The Halloween franchise star stunned in a sparkling red off-the-shoulder dress that hugged her slim frame.

The silver-haired beauty styled her chic pixie cut with pomade and enhanced her natural beauty with a glamorous yet soft makeup look.

Ruby, who was often caught beaming in the direction of her famous mum, looked radiant in a shimmering silver dress layered beneath a cropped black jacket.

Her curly brunette hair brushed her shoulders and she let her flawless complexion take center stage by opting for minimal makeup.

Annie cut a sexy figure in a black strapless dress with a daring thigh-high slit with silver rose embroidery at the chest.

Her golden blonde hair was styled straight and pinned back with rhinestone clips.

In last year’s AARP interview, conducted with Ruby’s permission, Curtis explained that she has jettisoned the “old idea” that gender is fixed and is instead leaning toward the idea that life is a “continuous metamorphosis.” .

The actress has shown support for trans people for several years, and in 2017 tweeted a Huffington Post article: “Dear trans kids. The letter we all wish we could have written. (from a trans teacher).’

Last year she also signed on to direct and star in a made-for-TV movie about GLAAD Media Institute graduate Sara Cunningham. Cunningham is the founder of Free Mom Hugs, which celebrates the LGBTQIA+ community. She also spoke excitedly about Ruby’s upcoming wedding.

Curtis’ kids are private — and have only attended a handful of events with their mom — but Ruby gave her mom the OK to share two pieces of personal information with AARP, the other being her upcoming nuptials.

“She and her fiancé are getting married next year at a wedding that I will be officiating,” the Halloween star said.

Curtis didn’t say if Ruby was marrying a man or woman, although Ruby shared a photo with a friend in 2019.

Last year, Curtis admitted that she and her 37-year-old husband “still slip up occasionally” by mis-gendering Ruby and calling her by her maiden name.

“It speaks a new language. It learns new terminology and words. I’m new to this. I’m not someone who pretends to know much about it. And I’ll mess it up, I’ll make mistakes. I want to try to avoid making big mistakes,” the Halloween Kills star producer told People.

Curtis and Guest struggled with infertility and adopted their eldest, Annie, through an agency in 1986. Nine years later, they adopted Ruby.

Halloween Ends is the final chapter in the David Gordon Green-directed trilogy that began with Halloween in 2018. The sequel Halloween Kills was released in 2021.

Halloween Ends hits theaters and NBC’s Peacock streaming platform on Friday, October 14.

After starring in the slasher, she returned as a pacemaker in Halloween II (1981), Halloween H20: 20 Years Later (1998), and Halloween: Resurrection (2002).

Fans were thrilled when Curtis signed on to direct Gordon Green’s Halloween trilogy as older Laurie Strode, who aims to end Myers’ bloodbath for good.

In a recent interview with The Guardian, Curtis branded her alter ego a “feminist heroine” and a character who pushes boundaries at a time when female roles were being forced into “basic types.”
