Herschel Walker tells a bizarre tale about a bull while polls show it is level with Warnock

Georgia Republican Herschel Walker told a strange story about a bull who left three pregnant cows at a rally with GOP heavyweight senators, as polls show he is neck and neck with incumbent Democrat Raphael Warnock.

A new poll by Emerson College/The Hill found that 48 percent of respondents planned to vote for Warnock, 46 for Walker, showing that public perception has been relatively unfazed by claims the ex-NFL star had an ex- Girlfriend convinced to have an abortion and tries to convince her again.

The race is closer than that between Gov. Brian Kemp and Democrat Stacey Abrams, who is 51 percent to 46 percent behind.

Walker held an event with National Republican Senatorial Campaign (NRSC) Chairman Rick Scott, Fla., and Sen. Tom Cotton, Ark., on Tuesday in Carrollton, Georgia.

In his closing remarks, Walker delved into a parable of patriotism about a bull who had impregnated three cows, but felt he needed more:

“This bull in the field with six cows. Three of them are pregnant, so you know he’s got something going. But all he cared about was pressing his nose against the fence and looking at three other cows that didn’t belong to him. Now all he had to do was eat grass. But no, no, no. He thought somewhere else was better. So he decided I want to go over there. So one day he measured this fence and said I think I can jump that. So the day he came back, and when he came back, he dove over that fence and his stomach was cut open on the ground. But when he made it to the other side, he shook it off and was so excited about it. And he ran to the top of that hill, but when he got there he realized they were cops too. So what I’m telling you, don’t think that anything else is better – this is the greatest country on earth today.’

Last week, Walker’s campaign was rocked by allegations that he pressured his ex to have an abortion in 2009 and even sent her money for the procedure and a get well card. Walker has flatly denied the allegations and even denied knowing the woman.

Walker has publicly supported bans on abortions after 15 weeks with no exceptions for rape or incest, and has railed against “absent fathers,” particularly in the black community.

Senate Republicans have sided with Walker, knowing his election could give them a narrow majority in the upper house of Congress.

“People are getting tired of the ads and the lies they tell about Herschel Walker,” Cotton told the crowd.

“If you like abortion to childbirth … you should vote for Warnock,” Scott said, ignoring the abortion allegations.

On Friday, the ex-girlfriend, who declined to be identified, said Walker tried again two years later to get her to have an abortion and she refused. The couple then separated, and she said Walker had little involvement in the child’s life other than paying court-ordered child support and occasional gifts.

“They’re going to do whatever it takes, say what they have to say, because they want this space right here,” Walker said. “I don’t think they know they woke a bear. I’m not just a dog now, I’m a bear.”

The Daily Beast reported Monday night that in 2009, Walker provided the woman he was with with $700 for an abortion and a get well card.

The woman, who asked not to be identified, reportedly provided the Daily Beast with a bank deposit receipt for Walker’s payment and a receipt for the $575 proceeding.

The Daily Beast provided an image of the card, which read in handwriting, “Pray you’re better – H.” The handwriting was similar to other autographs Walker had given.

The ex-girlfriend said Walker barely knew his now 10-year-old son and “maybe only saw him three times” in the boy’s life. The woman said she only communicates with Walker’s now-wife, Julie Blanchard, who calls to check the boy’s height before sending gifts for Christmas and birthdays.

Meanwhile, Walker’s only named child gutted his father on Tuesday morning for telling “lie after lie after lie” after the abortion card report.

Christian Walker, 22, also lashed out at Republicans and Democrats for making judgments about his relationship with his father, defiantly telling them, “You don’t know anything about my life.”

Calling out right-wing support for his father despite multiple reports of behavior contrary to Republican values, he first told Walker, “Don’t lie about the lives you’ve ruined and pretend you’re a moral family man.” .”, adding: “That should matter to you all, Conservatives.”

In two videos posted to Twitter the morning after Walker’s abortion payment report surfaced, Christian claimed he was “silent” while “atrocities” against his mother – Walker’s ex-wife – were “downplayed” by the candidate and his allies became.
