Manny Manuel responds to demand with an urban look

The singer Manny Manuel Today, it features an urban trend image, drawing attention at a time when a lawsuit against Ricardo Cordero and the Color Soul company, his alleged event manager and producer, is being publicly debated.

Cordero/Color Soul is seeking a court order that Manny Manuel pay the $1,126,000 lump sum, breach of contract and claim damages. The total includes two shows that were allegedly not paid to Cordero/Soul under the 50% net income agreement after advertising and marketing, production, staging and other expenses.

The artist told Día a día (Telemundo) this afternoon that he was saddened and surprised by the lawsuit, describing it as “malicious” and unfounded.

He said of the six-year oral agreement for the management and production of events referred to by Cordero/Soul in the lawsuit that “it doesn’t exist…it doesn’t make sense.”

The singer pointed out that a contract was drafted together with the lawyer Roberto Sueiro, which provides for new clauses in the employment and payment relationship with Cordero/Color Soul, with which his current plaintiff did not agree.

Manny Manuel, who is in an outpatient rehabilitation program, affirmed that this new controversy “is in no way detrimental to my will,” nor does it force me.

The so-called “King of Hearts” was spared a trial last July over the December 2020 incidents when he was involved in two car accidents over alleged drunk driving.
