MS Dhoni comforts CSK youngster Mukesh Choudhary
Chennai Super Kings youngster Mukesh Choudhary had a mixed game against Royal Challengers Bangalore on Tuesday. The young paceman picked up Virat Kohli’s wicket with a short delivery which left him overjoyed. But his catching left CSK is a precarious position as he gave a life each to Suyash Prabhudessai and the dangerous Dinesh Karthik.
While Prabhudessai’s drop catch didn’t cost CSK much, Karthik’s drop meant the match went deep as the wicket-keeper batter pulled out the big shots to keep RCB in pursuit. The young bowler was then picked apart in his third over and that meant he finished the match with numbers of 1/40 from 3 overs.
However, MS Dhoni is not one to chase players for mistakes on the field due to his cool and calm demeanor and ability to absorb pressure.

In the 15th over of the game, Lankan bowler Maheesh Theekshana removed the dangerous Shahbaz Ahmed to put CSK back in contention. The cameras immediately spotted Dhoni walking towards young Mukesh. The former CSK skipper put his arm around the youngster and comforted him as he lost a sitter in the previous delivery.
Such a gesture from a veteran cricketer like Dhoni is expected to boost a youngster’s morale and was celebrated by fans on social media.
