Maga reflects that years on the road in music and in life have brought her security and ease to be more exposed to the world. Talking about subjects that might have been quite difficult before.
“You know what, I’ve waited 60 years to say things that I now speak naturally about life. For me, arriving at 60 is like this: 30 years between being born, growing up, discovering myself, conquering myself, living independently and 30 more establishing myself professionally, defending my point of view, making mistakes and doing things right, ways out to look out of my difficulties, i went through very difficult times until i managed to consolidate my career from people trying to stop me but i also had and have a lot of people who contributed to me but i am I’m sure if I didn’t have my talent and I hadn’t prepared myself and realized what I was set to do, I wouldn’t be here today. I tried to build myself a place in the sun.”
Confidence comes when you look in the mirror, see the strong woman that is there, and say selfpraising phrases while giving yourself a facial massage:
“‘What a beautiful face!’, ‘What a great expression!’, ‘Pick up that look’. I have a habit of doing Chinese massage for facial muscles in the mirror, which I learned on the Internet. But the secret behind it The mulatto oil from the Aue is successful, a true miracle of nature,” reveals.

gshow: Margareth, how do you judge your life so far?
Margareth: “I am very grateful for everything I have learned so far and am still learning. On the journey of life I follow my dreams. I think because I was born in spring, the day after Children’s Day, I bring myself joyful energy to live and that nourishes me at all times. In the many difficulties, I searched for answers and discovered resilience, resistance, stubbornness, courage, patience and a certain rebellion is a pit stop to give me feedback everything is how we want it but that we can find and create other ways to achieve our goals.”
“I have always had curiosity, respect and trust in the invisible, in God, in the mestre, in the orixás, in the encantados. I have learned that there are things that only spirituality explains and this is an almost infinite one Search. I love human nature and mother nature, the mysteries of the sky. I respect the darkness. I have always looked up to the stars. I love the sea, the rivers, the mountains and the plants. I respect the animals. I like them Sun light of day and the nights of the moon Anyway I have all these things that guide my feelings and my mind.”

gshow: What dreams would you like to fulfill professionally and privately?
Margareth: “What I’m thinking about the most now is to grow my Estrela Afropop label. Today I already master most of my phonographic work, which makes me very happy, and we also have Fábrica Cultural, our NGO, which gives us great joy for everything we do manage to build over these 18 years of existence. We had to reorganize the entire system, understand the language of the digital universe and reposition everything in this new communication format. Of course everything is more difficult for me to understand, but I Try to learn from this new generation My generation already has the memory and content of the events that supported the steps towards the arrival of this new moment.
gshow: What do you admire most about yourself?
Margareth: “I like and thank the mother and father that I had and the family that I have. The life we had in childhood and adolescence, despite its modesty, was of great dignity. Would God that society could have the humility to listen to the advice and philosophies, the wisdom of our ancestors who saved our existence. Therefore it is at least necessary to respect our ancestors.”
“I like to get up, I like to stay awake, I like to travel through the plane window to see the clouds. I love to sing, I love to discover new things and stories about the existence of people. I think of the Secrets of existence are great!”

gshow: And do you feel good physically?
Margareth: “I’ve always liked to exercise in some way, ever since I was in school. I’ve been on the handball team, I’ve won a 100m medal in school competitions, and lately, even before the pandemic, I’ve enjoyed working out by learning to play tennis. Exercise gets blood circulating in the body, takes energy and activates muscles. I always try to maintain good health. I’m not neurotic, but when it comes to food, especially at home, I try to keep good habits “I’m almost a naturalist. I’ve always been very dynamic on these aesthetic issues. I’ve had multiple hairs and phases, and I don’t intend to to change that, it’s part of who I am. ‘I’m a gradient’, as it says in a song I heard on the radio the other day.”
gshow: What projects are you currently working on?
Margareth: “All I can think about is my new show that we are building for AfroPunk, the largest black music festival in the world, which will be held in Salvador in November. As well as the new show, I will also be attending Summerfest, there is a preproduction bio about me, a planned documentary, music release for the summer and other news for Carnival 2023.”
