Paris, April 12 For the first time since early March, France has today hospitalized more than 24,000 people for Covid-19, including 1,589 in intensive care.
According to French health statistics, the number of hospitalized patients is 24,205, 1,370 more than a week ago, when the number of seriously ill patients treated was 1,523.
Hospital stress, defined by occupied intensive care beds, remains stable at 31.4 percent.

Regarding the reproduction of the pathogen, it is 1.21, indicating that the disease is more widespread and far from the reference pattern.
Public Health France reported a total of 143,466 deaths from the disease in more than two years of the pandemic, one of the hardest-hit countries in the world.
