During a press conference, Lijian referred to the global human rights report prepared by the US in 2021, saying that the country, which aims to become a world judge on the matter, has “debts and crimes at home and abroad.”
He added that this report was full of lies and prejudice with a political-ideological bias towards China, calling it another example of Washington’s hypocrisy and double standards.

In addition, he called on the United States to look inward and improve its situation instead of criticizing others without having the morality to do so, showing that the country is stuck in the Cold War mentality, he said.
Among the internal issues the US urgently needs to address, Lijian pointed to the management of Covid-19 (it is the first country in the world with infections and deaths), discriminatory policies on migration and the epidemic of violence (linked to the possession and lack of control over guns) and inhumane treatment in prisons.

In addition, he criticized that by claiming hegemony and maintaining its consumer society, the US encouraged subversion and wars in different parts of the world, causing thousands of casualties and displacement.
Lijian mentioned that the White House is increasingly resorting to economic warfare and unilateral restrictive measures against sovereign nations, and that it has a network of secret prisons where it detains and tortures inmates without charge.
The State Department spokesman also dismissed Washington’s classification of China’s and Russia’s space activities as a threat.
China is resisting US efforts to hype what it calls the “threats” posed by China in space. The US only did this to justify its attempt to seek hegemony in space.

The starting point for this is the principle of the peaceful use of space and its non-militarization. He assured that with these lawsuits, the White House is trying to find an excuse to intensify its arms race.
He asserted that the US poses “the greatest threat to space security.” He said that “his government has openly defined it as a battlefield,” recalling that he consequently created a space force and deployed offensive weapons.
