Laura Hamilton has revealed she has remained friends with her ex-husband while discussing their split on Saturday.
The A Place in the Sun host, 40, announced the end of her nine-year marriage to Alex Goward, 41, in January but sparked rumors of a reconciliation this summer after a series of family holidays.
She has now confirmed the two are just friends as they continued their “fantastic positive approach” to separating their two children Rocco, eight, and Tahlia, six, together.

Speaking to The Sun, Laura explained that Alex recently attended the 40th birthday party with his family and they will spend Christmas together.
She said: “I will tell the kids we can see this is challenging but let’s try to take something positive out of it.
“We’re skiing together on Boxing Day, it’s going to be a family holiday again – my ex-partner is coming and the kids are really happy.”

She continued: “We have always said that we will raise our children together and continue to take family vacations. I’m really thankful that we have a fantastically positive approach to parenting.”
Last month, Laura sparked speculation that she might be reconciling with her ex-husband Alex after the pair shared a second holiday together in three months.
The A Place In The Sun presenter was joined by insurance broker Alex to the Greek resort of Kefalonia in August.

It comes weeks after they were both pictured at the exclusive La Manga Club in Spain during the May half-term.
During their recent outing, Alex shared a story on his Instagram jet ski and tagged Kefalonia as his location.
At the time, Web contacted representatives of Laura Hamilton with a request for comment.
In May, during a break in Spain with their two children, they were just as secretive, sharing similar snaps of the exclusive La Manga Club resort overlooking the golf club from their balcony.

She also uploaded snaps of her children playing in the pool, including one of them relaxing with a drink in a deep red swimsuit at the £400-a-night retreat.
Laura announced their shock breakup in May, posting a picture of a framed message on Instagram that read, “Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.”
She wrote, “This is something I never thought I would say, but after 13 years of being together, Alex and I have broken up.

“Our children are and will always be our top priority and we would respect our family’s privacy at this time.”
The message was posted weeks after herself and Alex was enjoying a trip to Lapland with her two children.
Shortly after the split was confirmed, Laura announced she had moved to a new property in Surrey, close to her marital home and revealed she was in the middle of a major renovation.
The former couple also owned a coffee shop in Purley called Lord Roberts on The Green but three months after their split they switched to Ghazala Akhtar.
