PARIS, 13th April (RHC) – New polls for the second round of the French presidential election confirmed President Emmanuel Macron’s preference for far-right leader Marine Le Pen, albeit by a narrower margin than in 2017.

According to the Opinionway-KéaPartners poll for newspapers Les Echos and Radio Classique, the candidate for re-election has 53 percent of voting intentions, while his rival has 43 ahead of the April 24 election, in which almost 49 million citizens will have more than the vote 18-year-olds are again invited to the polls.
