Goldenvoice announced firm times for this year’s weekend later than usual. In a tweet revealing the times, the festival noted that the set times were “unprecedented”.

In years past, Coachella has been known to release set times later than most major festivals — with the reveal occurring on the Monday or Tuesday before the first weekend. With two years canceled due to the pandemic, the festival has seen major cast changes for its 2022 event, including the removal of Travis Scott after its own festival, Astroworld, left several dead due to crowds. Additionally, late-game headliner Kanye West withdrew from the event just weeks before it was scheduled to begin.
