The controversial cryptocurrency firm Celsius Network, in which the Caisse de dépôt has invested $200 million, is being investigated in around 40 US states.

It was Bloomberg who revealed this information after reading the courseware.
“The number and scope of debtor investigations by government agencies is significant: Celsius appears to be the subject of enforcement proceedings or investigations in at least 40 states, in addition to investigations involving the federal government,” we can read in documents recently filed about the company’s bankruptcy .
In Quebec, the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF) has always refused to say whether the company is under investigation or not.
For its part, the fund reiterated it had nothing new to add to that filing and said it was continuing to evaluate its “legal options.”
Celsius did not respond to our interview request.
