Tori Spelling is getting along very well with her mother Candy Spelling these days after ending an estrangement that began over 20 years ago.
The 49-year-old is thrilled that things are going so well, she told Jeff Lewis during his SiriusXM show this week while promoting her new show Love At First Lie.
“We had a good relationship … it’s just like next level. I’m really, really happy,” she told the Flipping Out veteran.

Tori and Candy became closer thanks to another reality TV star.
The former Beverly Hills 90210 actress said Josh Flagg from the show Million Dollar Listing suggested they all get together.
“I hadn’t seen her since before COVID,” Tori said. “And then Josh said, ‘Okay, we’re going to have a family dinner at her house.’ So we went and had a great night.’
And now they have been texting each other every day since and have met many times.

Tori wrote on Instagram about her first dinner with Candy and brother Randy.
“This was a special moment in time. I don’t think the three of us (just the three of us) have eaten out together for 20 years,” wrote the blonde beauty, who wore a black dress and was holding a black Hermes handbag.
“Anything to celebrate our mother! Happy Birthday @candyspelling!!!! @randyspelling and i love you so much!
“Such an iconic woman! Dear mom and grandma! I can’t wait to continue celebrating your birthday with you!’
Randy added, “What a great night and moment!! Happy birthday mom @candyspelling we love you! ❤️’

Many years after her father Aaron Spelling – the man behind Love Boat and Charlie’s Angels – died leaving Candy a fortune, Tori was at odds with her family.
But things have improved.
A second post showed Tori with her arms on her mother’s shoulders while she saw a stack of gold-wrapped gifts in the background at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
“I loved celebrating this goddess tonight. One thing I learned recently…life is short. So keep your loved ones as close as possible. I love you with all my heart mom. Happy Birthday @candyspelling,” Tori wrote in her caption.
The pin-up also told ET that she decided to let old grudges go because “life is too short.”

“It’s so important and I feel like life is too short and we forget that,” Spelling said.
“I think because life moves on and you tell yourself, ‘I have to make plans with this person, I have to make an effort,’ and then you don’t because your life moves on. And it’s important now to really take that time, and I think I’m finally starting to understand that.
She also said a lot of people didn’t know the family didn’t spend a lot of time together: “A lot of people were like, ‘Oh my god, I didn’t know you three weren’t together. It’s like a reunion.”
“I thought, ‘Oh no, did I word it wrong?’ I meant it’s just the three of us that we haven’t had dinner in 20 years because it’s always been like this with our families, ‘Love at first lie: who’s a couple and who’s a scammer? said host Rachel Smith of ET.
“My brother is married and has two children, I have five children. So it’s always family stuff. But just the three of us, like adult time,” she noted.

And she is closer to her brother too.
Earlier this month, she shared a picture of Randy posing with her and their kids as she wished him a happy birthday and said she loved him.
Tori’s caption was warm and friendly.
“Little brother birthday… Happy birthday to my incredibly beautiful, kind, funny and brilliant brother @randyspelling,” she wrote. ‘I love you so much! Best Human, Father, Husband, Life Coach, Friend and Uncle! Love you blonde pea.’
Tori has been in the news lately for having a difficult time with her husband, Dean McDermott. Together they have five children: daughters Stella (13) and Hattie (10) and sons Liam (14), Finn (9) and Beau (4).
