Alexandra, who has appeared in series one and two of the BBC show, continued: “Just to get it out there, I’d love to come back for season 3 of I Can See Your Voice. Actually, I would like to come back as a permanent fixture! I absolutely love the show, it’s so much fun, I was at my peak every time I performed in it.
“I think there must be a fourth permanent investigator and an additional fifth chair for the guest! I love the show so much.’
Amanda responded, “For me, Alexandra Burke is one of the best singers in the country. Annoyingly, some female singers are underrated in this world and it’s only when you see her live and see her perform that you’re like, ‘Wow, she’s absolutely phenomenal.’
“Alexandra also has an amazing personality so she was really good as a detective and it was a pleasure to see her again for a second series.”

I Can See Your Voice returns to BBC One for a second season this autumn.
Hosted by Paddy McGuinness, the mystery game show has players navigate through a series of rounds by guessing who out of a group of people can and cannot sing without hearing them sing a note.
And it will welcome a host of special guests, including Steps’ Claire Richards, chart-topping Becky Hill and Spandau Ballet’s Tony Hadley.
Other guests include Lulu, Erasure’s Andy Bell, Blue’s Simon Webbe and West End, and TV star Layton Williams.
In each episode, a special guest will help out Amanda Holden, Jimmy Carr and Alison Hammond, who will also return for season two as “celebrity investigators.”
Each week, guests go through a series of rounds trying to guess who can and can’t sing before a big reveal will show if they got it right.
With the help of the celebrity investigators and special guest, they’ll guess using a series of clues, clips, questions and a lip-synched performance.
Contestants eliminate one person in each round before leaving one person standing.

The person they pick as a good singer will perform a duet with the special guest of the week, which will determine if they can actually sing or not.
If they guess correctly, they get a cash prize – but if they guess wrong, the singer gets to steal the prize.
The show also has an American version and originally started in South Korea – with the US and UK both adopting adaptations.
I Can See Your Voice returns to BBC One on Saturday 29 October at 21:10.
