Carlinhos Maia and Lucas Guimarães’ marriage has come to an end. The confirmation was made public this Sunday (23) on the networks through a joint post. In a long statement, they described moments spent together, recalled difficulties before fame and asked for respect for the current moment.
“Out of respect for everyone who has cheered and broadcast our relationship all along, we share that Lucas and I will be going our separate ways from now on. We have been together for almost 13 years and have lived the very best years of our lives because we have experienced so many stories and struggles. The love that unites us goes beyond marriage,” the statement said.
And he continues: “We will always be together and admire each other’s work. Our partnership, complicity and entire story will forever be in our hearts.”
In the message, the former couple says their love has “become a brotherhood.” “Our wish is that people who like us and all the media don’t create speculation, our marriage ends with a lot of affection and complicity,” he concludes.
