Comedian Leslie Jordan has died aged 67 after crashing his BMW into the side of a Hollywood building while ‘suffering from a medical emergency’.

Comedian Leslie Jordan died in Hollywood on Monday after crashing his BMW into the side of a building.
The actor was 67 years old. Police officials told TMZ that it appears the actor “suffered some sort of medical emergency.”
Los Angeles police did not identify Jordan but told they received a call at 9.30am about a car that had crashed into a wall on Romaine Street.
Known for his work on Will & Grace, Call Me Kat and American Horror Story, Jordan lived in Los Angeles.
Actor George Takei confirmed the later actor’s death and mourned him on Twitter.
“I am stunned by the passing of Leslie Jordan, who has inspired us with his many roles on television and film,” Takei wrote.
“The cause of death was a car accident after suffering a medical emergency. Leslie, we are heartbroken at your loss and will miss your cheerfulness and inimitable spirit.’

Back then, the actor chatted with host Thomas Roberts about the next chapter in his country music career — and his partnership with prolific musician and singer-songwriter Eddie Vedder to auction special collectibles benefiting Epidermolysis Bullosa research.
“When I came to Hollywood, I never thought, well, I want to pursue a career in music or something,” Leslie explained at the time.
Leslie County’s album, titled Company’s Comin, was released in 2021 and featured some of music’s biggest names – including his friend, Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam.
