Russian parliament passes tougher version of law against “LGBT propaganda

The law also prohibits the “denial of family values” and the “promotion of nontraditional sexual orientations” to adults. In addition to advertising, the bans include “media, internet, literature and cinema”. “Films that promote nontraditional sexual relations do not receive a certificate for screening,” the Duma said. The text also prohibits “information likely to arouse a desire to change gender” directed at minors. Violators are subject to fines and foreigners who break the law can be expelled.
