Sporting Cristal is experiencing hectic days ahead of their last match in the final tournament of the 1st division 2022. The separation from the squad of midfielder Martín Távara after his ex-partner’s public complaint against him leaves the team of Rimense unsuccessful player, who he in the last days had become one of the pillars.
Roberto Mosquera, manager of the Rimense squad, has to use another footballer to fill the vacant position. The substitute’s job is to help his team win against Mannucci to at least secure their spot in the championship playoffs.
The first natural substitute for Távara is Jesus Castillo. The 21-year-old midfielder already gained experience in such a role last season and in the first half of this year. His 30 games and two goals scored in League 1 make him a top pick.

Another footballer that comes up as a possible variant is Jesus Pretel, which Mosquera used far less than Castillo. The Piura man has only scored one goal in the league and his role was more of a substitute role.
Diego good night, meanwhile, could also be considered if Mosquera decides to field him as an attacking midfielder. Yoshimar Yotún, meanwhile, is doubtful due to the inconvenience that prevented him from taking part in the previous appointment against Alianza Atlético, while captain Horacio Calcaterra is already one of the ‘fixes’ in midfield.
