A forty is missing in Beauce: The SQ restarts its research

A large-scale police operation began in Saint-Georges on Friday to find a 45-year-old man who has been missing for several days. The search continued early Saturday morning.

Tommy Lemieux, a man from Saint-Odilon-de-Cranbourne in Beauce, has not been seen since October 24. He was then on 140th Street in Saint-Georges, driving a snow-white 2010 Kia Soul with G14 RVP registration.

On Friday, a large-scale operation by the Sûreté du Québec (SQ) was launched to find him. A command post was deployed; Police officers on foot, others on mountain bikes and even a drone were deployed, said Nancy Fournier, spokeswoman for the SQ.

In an evening report, the police said that despite all efforts, the person is still missing. In particular, the search area has been expanded, while blocking points have been set up in strategic places to collect all relevant information.

The search is expected to continue on Sunday.

It is recalled that Mr Lemieux’s vehicle was found behind a shop on Boulevard Lacroix, still in Saint-Georges, early on Friday. Unfortunately, the man could not be found.

Tommy Lemieux is 1.78 m tall and weighs 80 kg. He has shaved brown hair and brown eyes. He also has a tribal tattoo on the top of his right hand, near the thumb.
