Prince Harry and Meghan Markle promise Queen will hug Archie and Lili during ‘warm’ reunion

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle appear to be giving the Queen their word on having more love for their great-grandchildren after depriving the monarch for two years.

A senior royal source reveals that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have promised the 95-year-old they will return to the UK after their recent visit, bringing children Archie and Lilibet with them.

Harry and Meghan shocked royal admirers as they landed in Windsor this Thursday for an “incredibly warm and good natured” and “very warm” reunion with the Queen.

A source close to the Sussexes said: “Both the Duke and Duchess are very aware that the Queen is aging and has had health issues related to her old age.

“They have made it clear that they certainly plan to return with their family to see the Queen in the near future.”

En route to the Netherlands, Harry and Meghan stopped briefly to meet Queen and Prince Charles. The pair are attending the Invictus Games this week.

There are now also speculations that the Sussexes will actually arrive for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations this summer.

“There’s a great willingness to come together as much as possible for everyone to come together for the Queen.”
