Anticipation for Avatar: The Way of Water, the first sequel to Avatar, James Cameron’s highest-grossing film of all time and winner of three Oscars©, grows in Italian cinemas on December 14th, distributed by The Walt Disney Company Italia .
The production has released the new trailer and poster for the film from 20th Century Studios: To celebrate the event, an extraordinary light show featuring some images from the film will be projected onto Niagara Falls.
With Avatar: The Way of the Water, the cinematic experience reaches new heights: Cameron transports viewers into the grandiose world of Pandora in a spectacular and action-packed adventure.
Avatar: The Water Way takes place more than ten years after the events of the first film and begins by telling the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri and their children), the danger that follows them and where they are going want to protect themselves from each other, from the struggles they fight to stay alive and from the tragedies they face.
Directed by James Cameron and produced by Cameron and Jon Landau, Lightstorm Entertainment production stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang and Kate Winslet. The screenplay was written by James Cameron & Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver, the story by James Cameron & Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver & Josh Friedman & Shane Salerno.
