The Mise-o-jeu+ side is far from favoring GM and head coach Danny Maciocia’s squad to go all out in his run to the playoffs. On Tuesday morning, the Sparrows were the second-most underdog among the six clubs in the competition at odds of 10.00. Only the Hamilton Tiger-Cats (1 p.m.), their opponents in the semi-finals of the Canadian League East on Sunday, are less well perceived.
Not surprisingly, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers (2.20) are bookmakers’ favorites, followed by the Toronto Argonauts (4.50). Both teams are on leave this week. For their part, the BC Lions and Calgary Stampeders are accounted for at 4.60 and 7.00, respectively.
The Alouettes are also the favorites to win on Sunday, with a score of 1.60 below that of the Tiger Cats (2.20).
