Ankur and Sharon’s real estate agent says the drama on The Block was not meant to reflect the couple’s “winning house” before the final auction
Sharon Johal and Ankur Dogra’s real estate agent has spoken about representing the controversial couple from The Block during the latest auction.
Sean Parker of Macedon Ranges Sotheby’s International Realty told host Shelley Craft on The Block Official Podcast the on-screen drama was not meant to reflect the couple’s home.
“I think it’s a house you must see. Yeah, if you’re watching the show, you probably wouldn’t want to get into house three, but the people making it up are pretty impressed,” he said.

“In fact, I’ve had comments saying it’s the winning house.”
Mr Parker also said there has been some interest in the home from interstate buyers.
“There has been some interest from the Interstate, we’ve had a couple of NSW buyers as investors, so there’s a certain mix,” he said.

It comes after Sharon and Ankur were less than impressed with the judges’ feedback during Monday’s outdoor reveals.
Darren Palmer, Neale Whitaker and Shaynna Blaze all criticized the location of the pool area and outdoor dining area.
“It’s very, very bad planning. I think it takes away the majesty of this house and doesn’t add any value,” Shaynna noted.
“It’s a no-entry pool and a fire pit [hidden] in an alley,’ she added.

Darren agreed, saying, “You have a master bedroom and en-suite bathroom and this outdoor space that doesn’t connect to the living space.”
After listening to the feedback, Ankur said, “No disrespect to the judges but I don’t care what they say as it’s the last one [reveal].
“The house will still sell.”
“You can keep your comments and smoke,” added Sharon.
