The new promotional poster for the series also comes from the HBO Twitter account, showing the two protagonists Joel and Ellie from behind, in one of the typical post-apocalyptic settings that have shaped the history of the series. The TV adaptation of The Last of Us should stay resolutely true to the story told in the first chapter of the video game series, even considering that Neil Druckmann is also one of the writers and producers of the HBO show.
