Two giant marbles roll down a street, carried away by the wind

A scene worthy of the adventures of Indiana Jones. Early this Monday morning, two giant silver balls rolled through the streets of central London, UK, reports HuffPost.

These giant spheres were part of an art installation open to the public in a square in the capital. But this Monday, strong winds overwhelmed the work of art. In the video, transmitted by the Telegraph and already viewed more than a million times, we see one of the bullets lose its silver coating by hitting a lamp post, followed by another hurtling down the street at high speed.

passage of the storm

Luckily, at the time of the incident, it was early morning and few people, motorists or pedestrians, were on the road. However, it is Tottenham Court Road, a central artery of London. Authorities found no injuries and the lightning passage of the giant balls caused no significant damage.

The fierce gusts that shook London were the result of Storm Claudio, which swept through the UK after hitting the coasts of Brittany and Normandy, HuffPost adds. In other parts of the country, the climate phenomenon caused some damage in several communities.
