Karen Bartmorea 50yearold woman who Derbyshireno Great Britainand works as an engineering assistant, had an accident at work that ended up revealing something serious.
Karen reportedly fell from a 2 meter ladder and was given chest and back exams as a result. And after the relevant analyzes it turned out that she has severe lung cancer, which is stage 4, that is, progressing and has minimal chances of recovery.
In an interview, Tammy, 27, Beardmore’s daughter, stressed that this was a very difficult time. After the highlight, see what she said:
“It started in November last year. When she had her breast and back exams done. They found out she had small cell lung cancer. Since then she has undergone many chemotherapy regimens, 40 chest rounds and preventative cranial radiation, all with many complications and side effects. It was generally very, very difficult.”
During their conversation, Karen’s daughter added that the mother’s biggest concern was initially losing her hair, but she is now facing several other complications from the treatment and the disease.
Eventually, to pay for treatment and help the mother, the children opened a virtual fundraiser.
