Jennifer Lawrence welcomed her first child with husband Cooke Maroney in February 2022, but it doesn’t seem like that long ago that the couple first got together.

Lawrence was first linked to Cooke, an art gallery director, after they were introduced by mutual friends in 2018, and in February 2019 the blonde beauty was spotted wearing an engagement ring.
“Well, he’s just the best person I’ve ever met in my entire life. It was a very, very easy decision,” she told Entertainment Tonight after accepting his proposal.
“He really is, and he just keeps getting better,” the actress continued.
Lawrence and Cooke married at the Belcourt of Newport in Rhode Island in 2019 in the presence of stars including Adele and Cameron Diaz.

Their wedding had 150 guests including Kris Jenner and boyfriend Corey Gamble, Amy Schumer, Emma Stone and Ashley Olsen.
For their rehearsal dinner, Jennifer and Cooke hosted a conch dinner on Rose Island under a white tent, where Sienna Miller, Joel Madden and Nicole Richie arrived to celebrate.
Jennifer and Cooke had their engagement party in New York in mid-May, three months after confirming their engagement.
The star wore a $2,300 plunging L. Wells gown with nude Casadei shoes, along with a Roger Vivier bag and Fred Leighton jewels.

While neither Jennifer nor Cooke has spoken publicly about their relationship, insiders gushed about their chemistry, and a source told People in 2018, “She’s smiling like I’ve never seen any of her previous boyfriends do.”
By 2019, insiders claimed the couple was talking about starting a family.
“Both want kids and have been discussing starting a family,” a source told ET Online in 2019.
“Their families really believe they were meant to be; His family loves their family and vice versa so their parents are excited. Her parents get along great and they all look forward to big family gatherings.”
While many of Jennifer’s previous romances have been kept under the eyes of the world, the actress and her husband have enjoyed their romance away from the public eye, making low-key trips to Europe and being spotted on dinner dates in Cooke’s hometown of New York.
On September 8, 2021, the star’s rep confirmed her pregnancy to People.
