The actor has just ended his relationship with Joelle Rich, the English lawyer who defended him in the defamation lawsuit he dated for several months, according to People.

According to People magazine, Johnny Depp has just ended his relationship with Joelle Rich, the English lawyer he has been dating for a few months. And to think that just a few weeks ago, a well-informed source assured that pirate Jack Sparrow’s interpreter was really happy with his new story.
The spark between the US actor and attorney Joelle Rich, 37, would have ignited during The Sun’s trial (Depp had sued the tabloid for defamation over a 2018 article that called him a woman-beater). Joelle, a partner at the renowned law firm Schillings, was part of the legal team that defended him in 2020. Despite the lost cause, Depp was charmed by Joelle.
And Rich wouldn’t be the only lawyer charmed by Depp. For a while, gossip credited him with a love affair with Camille Vasquez, the attorney who defended him during the domestic violence trial of his ex-wife Amber Heard (six years of litigation that ended in the actor’s acquittal, who wants to have of Heard to be compensated for $15 million). But also according to People, Depp’s new flame wasn’t Vasquez but Rich, who left the court in the same vehicle as the actor. The first discreet meetings between the two would have taken place in a hotel.
Joelle Rich’s biography documents that she lives in London. For Schillings, she is involved in helping high-profile individuals and families protect their privacy and reputation and has expertise in defamation, privacy and copyright litigation. After graduating in law from the University of Birmingham, England, she studied at the BPP Law School in London from 2006 to 2007. The lawyer is married (and mother of two children) and is due for a divorce.
Meanwhile, Depp, 59, models for Rihanna’s fashion brand Savage X Fenty (a move that has already sparked outrage online and calls for a boycott of the singer’s brand). The actor has already filmed his cameo on the catwalk, the show will air November 9 on Amazon’s Prime Video.
