Mia Khalifa scoffs at her montage with Bolsonaro: ‘Am I late?’ 11/06/2022

Mia Khalifa is back in the underworld of fake news in Brazil and still enjoying it.

The 29yearold former Lebanese porn actress had the image of a fictional Igrad Gaak who would be “director of the antielection fraud department” of the Hague Court, an international court in the city of The Hague , in the Netherlands.

“Okay, at this point I should be wondering if I’m late for work, I think I really do have this job,” Mia jokes, sharing a screenshot of a tweet attributed to a site called Direita Brasil. There is no verified account with that name or @direito.brasil_oficial.

A search of the Hague court’s website turned up no evidence of an Igrad Gaak. The victory of Presidentelect Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) was recognized by the international community.

The image used in the publication shows Mia Khalifa in an interview with a British BBC program in 2019, which of course has no relation to Jair Bolsonaro (PL) or the Brazilian elections.

Last year, Mia Khalifa’s picture had already been circulated in fake news related to the pandemic, and her name was even mentioned in the Federal Senate’s CPI, which investigated failures and suspicions in the conduct of the pandemic of the new Corona crisis in Brazil. .

First, an image circulating on WhatsApp used a photo of Mia Khalifa as of Marcela Pereira, an alleged doctor who would research the use of hydroxychloroquine against Covid and was censored. Years earlier, the same name and photo had been used to mark “Marcela” as the winner of a physics competition in Russia.

“I’m not a doctor so don’t take medical advice from me from fake memes you found on WhatsApp,” Mia Khalifa tweeted at the time of her memes as a doctor in chloroquine research.

The story ended in Brasília after Senator Luis Carlos Heinze (PPRS) claimed that a porn actress would be the director of a British company that was providing data on Covid19 at the time. Senator Randolfe Rodrigues (RedeAP) mocked his colleague, citing Mia Khalifa and the false image, but the PP MP, a Bolsonaro supporter, claimed not to have mentioned Klhalifa, which in fact did not happen.
